I have a problem with 5 star reviews because it's harder to be funny when you're raving about a business. So I'm "leaning into" (not necessarily funny in a classical sense, but a dad joke in the "lamely trying to be hipper than I am" category) this review with a "positive" handicap. If you need someone to interpret that run-on sentence, dm me and I will connect you with one of my therapists... To make a long review short (I know it's too late for that), I may have just eaten the GREATEST EMPANADA ... EVER! And, I am NOT exaggerating! And, I have eaten hundreds of empanadas in my lifetime! In fact, I did a project in graduate school about opening a Bakery in Boston that featured a wide variety of stuffed pastry shells. My idea was modeled off of a place called Warburton's that was in multiple locations around Boston and Cambridge. BTW, I apologize for my ADHD (no explanation probably needed). If you know what's good for you and your friends, call TuTus and order a bunch of empanadas for your next gathering. You can either thank me later or bring me leftovers if you over-ordered. And one final point for the proprietors at TuTus, focus on the chicken unless you can duplicate its perfection with something else. If you need a taste tester, you can message me on Yelp.

Service 4/5 Food 4.5/5 Ambiance 4/5 I really enjoy every time I've come to Tutu's. The food is always fresh and thoughtfully prepared. On this occasion, I had the vegetable soup and the chili relleno. I love all the fresh veggies in the soup it's very satisfying and I appreciate the chili relleno isn't fried and cooked wonderfully with lots of melted cheese. My friend who joined me ordered a salad. She asked if they could chop the lettuce like a chopped salad and the restaurant refused. This is the second occasion this had occurred as on other visits chopping the salad finely had been accommodated. I'm not sure why the kitchen can't chop the greens upon request and it's the reason why I scored the service lower. The front of the house table service is always very good. I would recommend Tutu's and I plan on returning often.

Going to give 4 stars because the food is always great, however, the prices could be a tad lower for the amount you get. They have great breakfasts here and the fresh squeezed juices are great. They have a wood fired over which spits out great pizzas if that's what you're in the mood for. The salad selection is good (try the Cobb if that's your thing) and if not then get any of the pastas. They have a small market attached to the restaurant which has awesome pre-cooked meals and a small selection of raw meats to take home and cook. Really love that Tutu's is still around after Chow and can always be counted on for a filling and timely meal.

First time coming to Tutu's for brunch but won't be the last. If you like spicy Bloody Mary's, they have one of the best here with lots of horseradish! Since the restaurant is large, it's also easier to get In without a reservation. We were a little concerned about the noise level, but it was low enough to enjoy a nice conversation over a leisurely brunch.

Tutu's is one of our favorites for Sunday breakfast. The waitstaff is always attentive and friendly. The only thing I would criticize are the eggs, always overdone and sometimes cold. But we like going there, go figures!

I come here from time to time and they are always very good! This is a super cute half market half dine in style restaurant, they have one section inside where you're under a lit up tree and it's very adorable! They are accommodating every single time when it comes to switching up the meals. Taste fresh. The pesto pasta comes with penne and no protein ~ we switched the pasta to fettuccine noodles and added chicken .. which by the way, spot on!!! The spicy Thai chicken noodles come with fettuccine and we switch it out for fusilli, also a great dish. Not pictured but I have previously had the steak frites which is delicious, and their spicy chicken tortilla soup is very yummy!

Sat inside this time due to the heat and really enjoyed the cool open feel. The service was great per usual, truly above and beyond! The food is consistently excellent, but sometimes it comes out even more fresh and tasty. One of the best meals i've had in a while. Wanted to update my previous review to share some photos of the tuna melt and side salad. So delicious!

All the other local brunch spots in Lafayette Circle were packed and had long weights, and for some reason tutus was able to seat our group of six right away! The staff is all super nice. Our waiter happened to be a fabulous artist, and one of his paintings was for sale on the wall! The food was good. I love that you can order breakfast stuff and lunch stuff at the same time. Pot roast or eggs. What to choose?!? The avocado toast didn't look too much different from the poached eggs dish, but both were delicious so I guess it really doesn't matter too much. Everyone loved their food. Portions were good, but not overwhelming.
